I am Smarika Pokhrel, a Biotechnology researcher interested in natural products and their applications in human health. My current research focuses on plant-derived metabolites and their inhibitory activity against different enzymes, contributing to research in Alzheimer’s disease and neurodegeneration. I also have a growing interest in skin health, natural bioactive compounds, and evidence-based skincare development.
My research experience includes HPLC-based analysis, natural product extraction and fractionation, phytochemical screening, antioxidant and enzyme-based assays, bioactive compound evaluation, and foundational molecular docking.
